To avoid deleting specific files or folders, CD2K3 allows you to specify any number of folder names, file names and file extensions to IGNORE during deletion/searching.

This is achieved by using the "Ignore folders" and "Ignore files" sections in the "Options", and making sure to select "Ignore folders", "Ignore specified folders", "Ignore specified filenames", and "Ignore specified extensions" respectively.

To preserve certain Internet Explorer cookies use the "Keep cookies" option.

Note that this is NOT applicable to the items in the recycle bin, where all contents will be destroyed.

Please look under the help section relating to "Options" for information on using the ignore file/folder lists.

Some Internet Explorer plug-ins, such as search bars, reside in the download program files folder and will be deleted unless you uncheck the "Downloaded ActiveX & OCX" box on the main screen.
